叔碳酸乙烯酯改性水基双组分热固性PUA涂层的制备及性能研究

摘要:

采用叔碳酸乙烯酯(VEOVA-10)作为功能单体,通过溶液聚合相转换法改性高羟值聚丙烯酸酯核壳乳液(VWPA),并与水性异氰酸酯固化剂(DIC5500)复配得到双组分聚氨酯丙烯酸酯热固性涂层(VWPUA)。通过对聚合物结构、乳液粒子特性、胶膜热稳定性和胶膜微观形态进行分析,并评价复合涂层VWPUA的硬度、耐水性能、附着力和抗冲击性。研究结果表明:VWPA乳胶颗粒的粒径在100-200 nm之间,呈现核壳乳胶粒结构;通过VEOVA-10改性后,漆膜断面由韧性断裂转变为膾1生断裂,热失重速率降低。与VWPUAO相比,VWPUA3漆膜具有较高的耐热性能,VWPUA3的T5%提高了32.94℃,T10%增加了40.19℃,T50%提高了24.81℃;漆膜吸水率降低到2.38%,铅笔硬度为2H;胶膜应力-应变曲线表现为硬而韧特性;高羟值聚丙烯酸酯乳液壳相引入叔碳酸乙烯酯,其叔碳结构高空间位阻效应能够有效提高复合涂层的热稳定性能和耐水性能。

Abstract:

Using tertiary vinyl carbonate(VEOVA-10) as functional monomer,high hydroxyl value poly acry late core-shell emulsion(VWPA) was modified by solution polymerization phase transformation method,and two-component polyurethane acrylate thermosetting coating(VWPUA) was prepared by mixing with waterborne isocyanate curing agent(DIC5500).The polymer structure,emulsion particle characteristics,thermal stability and micromorphology of films were analyzed,and the hardness,water resistance,adhesion and impact resistance of composite coating VWPUA were also evaluated.The research resulted showed that the particle size of VWPA latex particles was in the range of 100-200 nm,showing the structure of core-shell latex particle.After mrodification by VEOVA-10,the fracture surface of the film changed from ductile fracture to brittle fracture,and the rate of thermal weight loss decreased.Compared with VWPUAO,VWPUA3 paint film had higher heat resistance,T5% of VWPUA3 increased by 32.94℃,T10% increased by 40.19℃,and T50% increased by 24.81℃.The water absorption rate of paint film decreased to 2.38%,and the pencil hardness was 2 H.The stress-strain curve of the film showed hardness and toughness.The high hydroxyl value polyacrylate emulsion shell phase was introduced into tertiary vinyl carbonate,and its high steric hindrance effect of tertiary structure could effectively improve the thermal stability and water resistance of the composite coating.
