β-二羰基化合物改性丙烯酸树脂的制备及性能研究

摘要:

以甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸羟丙酯、丙烯酸和乙酰乙酸基甲基丙烯酸乙二醇酯为单体,偶氮二异丁腈为引发剂,异丙醇为溶剂,通过自由基溶液聚合的方式制备了丙烯酸树脂。考察了引发剂用量、聚合反应温度对所制备出的丙烯酸树脂性能的影响,并对其进行红外、热失重、差示扫描量热等分析。研究结果表明:当w(引发剂)=1.5%(相对于单体总质量而言)、聚合反应温度为85℃时,所制备出的丙烯酸树脂外观为淡黄色透明黏稠液体,水溶性良好,黏度为727.5 mPa·s,固含量为53.5%;所制备出的丙烯酸树脂带有羟基、羧基和羰基基团,热稳定较好,玻璃化转变温度为44.73℃。由于所制备出的丙烯酸树脂能和甲醛发生反应,从而为其在净化甲醛的应用上拓宽了道路。

Abstract:

Acrylic resin was prepared by free radical solution polymerization method using methyl methacrylate,butyl acrylate,hydroxypropyl acrylate,acrylic acid,and 2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl acetoacetate as monomers,azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator and isopropanol as solvent. The effects of initiator amount and polymerization temperature on the properties of the prepared acrylic resin were investigated,and its infrared,thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry were analyzed. The research results showed that when w(initiator)=1.5%(relative to the total mass of monomer)and the polymerization temperature was 85 ℃,the prepared acrylic resin was light yellow transparent viscous liquid with good water solubility,its viscosity was 727.5 mPa·s and solid content was53.5%. There were hydroxyl,carboxyl and carbonyl groups in the prepared acrylic resin that was thermally stable with the glass transition temperature of 44.73 ℃. Since the prepared acrylic resin could react with formaldehyde,the application of purifying formaldehyde was broadened.
